Product Overview

Willow Moss can be left in your aquarium to roam around in the current until it finds a natural place to rest. It will attach itself to bogwood, roots, stones an many other tank items. You can also manipulate where it is to grow by attaching it to items within your aquarium. For example, you can use fishing line or similar to tie it to bogwood or rough stones. After a couple of weeks it will have grown into its host and you can remove the line. You can also attach it to corks (from wine bottles or natural decorative bark) in a similar manner. This provides valuable floating shade or retreats for your shrimp adults and babies. Does well in most tank conditions and normal lighting conditions.

Sold in a golf ball size.

    Love this moss

Posted by Kelley Grant on 6th Apr 2016

Received a large, healthy portion. I left it in a bucket of water for a couple of days so it would open up and separate before I tied it down in my tank. With cichlids it takes some patience and persistence to get it to anchor down, since they love to pull it out of where you have it tied down. Once it all finally anchors though it's lovely.

    Gorgeous Moss

Posted by Emily on 28th Mar 2016

Two pieces of this willow moss (along with some Italian val) were included in the first order I'd ever made from this site. The plants arrived quickly, and had obviously been packaged with great care. All of the plants in the package were in excellent condition, and the portions of willow moss were, as another reviewer put it, so generous, that I was afraid I was going to run out of driftwood to put it on!

    Awesome moss

I was surprised at the large portion of willow moss I received, I wasn't expecting that much. Immediately after I put it in the tank both my snails and shrimp started investigating it. It adds a beautiful natural touch to my tank.

Very generous portions at a very reasonable price, My moss arrived green, healthy, and quickly. Packaged extremely well, sent in 35-40 degree temps and had no issues what so ever.

    Top Shelf Moss!

Posted by Mike on 27th Mar 2014

I was pleasantly surprised with my first order from Ron. This is the best Willow Moss I have seen in years. I got a huge amount of it and tied it onto a piece of driftwood with thread. In about 2 hours it started to relax. Shipping was same day and came extremely well packaged with rock wool and a heat pack. I will be back for some of his trophy shrimp when this tank completely cycles.

The moss was very nice. It was a deep green and there was a good amount in the cup. I am pleased with this company and I have recommended this product to several friends.

The moss looked great. Wonderful packing for the winter. He had placed a warm pack in with the plants. It was still warm. I am very pleased at this time. I hope that the moss continues to look great.

I attached mine with thread to a piece of sand blasted hickory. The shrimp love to hang on the branches and walk out into the foliage.
