Origin: Oceania; they are found in Australia and Papua New Guinea

Description: A very peaceful species that should be housed with similar sized tank mates. They need to be kept in small groups of at least 6 specimens to get them to display at their best.
Habitat/Care: Use a well planted tank with subdued lighting, add floating plants to create shady areas. Any other decor is optional as the fish will spend most of their time swimming at the water surface.
Feeding: Quality flake for the staple diet but also provide treats of small live or frozen foods twice a week
