Product Overview

LUDWIGIA REPENS

This is one of the easiest red plants to care for that does well with just medium light and does not require co2. The better the light the redder the plant!

Easy to propagate this plant by cutting off a stem and replanting. To give the plant a bushier look just crop the top of it off.

Sold per large stem (aproximately 8")

2/4 Good Condition, 3/4 still alive

Posted by Patrick Duffy on 25th Feb 2018

Ordered 4 stems, 1 arrived with almost no leaves and I couldn't manage to save that stem. Another stem was damaged but it seems that it's going to live and has started growing in my tank (~week after planting I'm writing). The other 2 stems are as expected and in good condition.

    broken and leaves falling off

Posted by jonathan on 30th Jan 2016

unfortunatley the stems I had were broken about 2" down and the leaves were falling apart. Of course it is winter and it could have been from handling. They did throw in an extra shrimp which made me happy. I would use them again

I received 3 wonderful stems, great red tint, I recommend ordering 5 or more so you can get a thicker look, I will defiantly be ordering more soon. Great purchase

Packed nicely, someone wrapped the plant with care. Looks great in the aquarium. Priced competitive. I would use Alpha Pro again.

    Amazing

I only purchased one stem however I wish that I had gotten more! I've had it in the tank for 13 days and it's already doubled in length. I'm about to cut it in half and replant as it is growing out of the water now. Lovely plant, it survived shipping through Texas in summer and was red when I took it out of the (awesome) packaging.

Good plant, bought 5 stems, within a week, most, if not all the stems are starting new growth!
    Thanks Ron!

    Not quite 8"...

Posted by Unknown on 14th Jan 2014

I was a little disappointed that they were closer to 6" when I ordered them, but the fact that I got an extra one makes up for it, at least in my opinion. Also, they are healthy and very beautiful. I just planted them a few days ago but they've already perked up after shipping.

Plants arrived in great shape, one was even nearly 10 inches long with 2in branches. quickly took root and is growing quickly, even regaining its red color within a week of planting

Nice to have splash of color in the tank! :) Really healthy stems that I hope will take root and how off in my tank! I have bought 2 separate orders from him and they arrive healthy.
