Product Overview

Java Moss can be left in your aquarium to roam around in the current until it finds a natural place to rest. It will attach itself to bogwood, roots, stones an many other tank items. You can also manipulate where it is to grow by attaching it to items within your aquarium. For example, you can use fishing line or similar to tie it to bogwood or rough stones. After a couple of weeks it will have grown into its host and you can remove the line. You can also attach it to corks (from wine bottles or natural decorative bark) in a similar manner. This provides valuable floating shade or retreats for your shrimp adults and babies. Does well in most tank conditions and normal lighting conditions.

Sold in a golf ball size.

    Java Moss with Duckweed

Posted by Tim on 5th Aug 2015

I ordered some Java Moss and asked in the Comments Field if there was any Duckweed available (thinking that I would be sent another order form and could purchase some to save on shipping.) I didn't hear anything about it until my package arrived and there was a good amount of Duckweed included for free with the rest of my order. Best service I have ever had dealing with a breeder. Thanks, Ron!

Java moss was really good it seemed that I would have gotten a little more for the price. This went into a new aquarium now I have snails that were hidden in the moss. I'm not happy about that

    Java Moss

Posted by Michael on 14th Feb 2015

He got me a golf-ball size, but for the moss you can pull it apart gently and make it much bigger. Also shipped with a white baggy of heated volcanic rock to keep the package from freezing. I thought at first this was fertilizer but he cleared it up over email.

The java moss came in good green condition, and shipped relatively quickly. It was packaged very well and came with a business card. All in all good price, good product, and great service. will buy from them again.

    big and healthy

The java moss I bought from APB was a larger portion than I was expecting, and it's thriving in my tank. I plan to tie some to driftwood for aquascaping, but for now it's just a happy clump, ready to protect any fry that might come along.

    Excellent Grade!

This is really top notch Moss. He claims to sell you a golf ball size piece...I think he meant softball! I got a huge amount. This stuff goes a long way and is extremely important for fry. I dressed up a piece of drift wood with some thread. It looks like it is a hundred years old. My babies are loving it. Thanks Ron!

Nice and healthy. Packaged carefully and appropriately for the cold weather. Even came with a "bonus"--baby snail. :)
