Native to Cuba, Dwarf Baby Tears will eventually form a dense carpet over your aquarium substrate when planted. Some plants take time to establish themselves; however, once ideal conditions are met, this plant fills in well. For optimal health, H. callitrichoidesrequires bright, direct lighting and a rich nutrient base.
Provided lighting and nutrient criteria are met, Dwarf Baby Tears is generally not finicky about care. The plant propagates via runners that branch off of the root area. Cuttings from a mature plant can also be repotted and positioned in other areas of your aquarium.
