Water temperature:68-78F

Water Parameters: pH 6.2 - 7.8

Breeding

Breeding occurs about once every 2 months, they carry the eggs for about 3 weeks. Generation time is about 3-5 months, depending on the temperature. There will be no breeding if the temperature is too low. Breeding Blue Wizard Shrimp is very easy as long as the tank water is clean and there are no harmful conditions. If this species is happy and healthy than it will breed readily, almost as fast as the Red Cherry Shrimp. Blue Dream Shrimp require virtually the exact same conditions as the Red Cherry Shrimp, Yellow Shrimp, and Snowball Shrimp.

Water Parameters

Blue Wizard Shrimp prefers slightly alkaline to medium-hard water but are like other Neocaridina species in that they are easily adaptable to various conditions. Temperature can range from 68F-86F. Make sure that there is enough dissolved oxygen in the water if the water is warm.

Very rare and beautiful neo-cardinia shrimp. Care is the same as a cherry shrimp and just as prolific.

    Blue Wizards/Blue diamonds

Posted by Chirs Gamlin on 24th Jun 2014

These little guys were significantly darker then other Blue Wizards (which is why i bought them here) i have seen two who were actually completely black when i received them the others are a very dark blue, so far none like the picture with Blue and black (which is why i gave them 4 stars instead of five) but there 1/4" so its hard to tell what they may look like after they color up and get alittle bigger.

Very tough little buggers anyway the bag they were housed in leaked all the water out during shipping though one did die before arrival because of this; i managed to adjust the remaining shrimp to my water without any more loss's which is quite impressive as i couldn't acclimate them.
